THE ART MOMENTUM
The Art Momentum Artpapers are special-edition print publications, uniquely conceptualised for and distributed during major international art events, such as the Investec Cape Town Art Fair, ART X Lagos, and Also Known As Africa (AKAA). As their English Editor, I have worked with The Art Momentum for more than eight years to conceive of, coordinate, and create content about art and design from Africa and its Diasporas.
IAM AFRICA – INTENSE ART MAGAZINE (SPECIAL EDITIONS)
Inspired by global innovation, IAM – Intense Art Magazine was an independent artistic platform for collaboration and partnership – dedicated to women in art, fashion, and design from Africa and its Diasporas. The bilingual (English/French) publication, which comprised periodical magazines and special-edition print publications, worked with a wide network of contributors from across the globe. I worked with IAM as their English Editor and a regular contributor.
ART AFRICA (FORMERLY ART SOUTH AFRICA)
ART AFRICA was a quarterly print publication, focused on artists, designers, and art practitioners from Africa and its Diasporas. It was strategically distributed via media partnerships at international art fairs to the world’s top collectors – ensuring that advertisers, galleries, and artists reach their primary target markets. Formerly known as Art South Africa, the publication was founded and first published in September 2002 by Brendon and Suzette Bell-Roberts. From 2014-2016, I was the Assistant Editor for ART AFRICA, also contributing to the publication as Staff Writer.
